We had a great time in San Diego for Christmas. We cruised down to SD to see Lady Gaga in concert. The weather was great and so was the Christmas spirit.

It will take me days to upload just a fraction of the photos that I snapped this year. I've photographed these Samba groups for five years, and I still get caught up by the drumming and dancing.

OK, so I was wondering in the forest not being able to see because of the trees.  I heard that the packers where coming down the hill to go to an event called Old Spanish Days Fiesta.  What they were talking about I did not know.  The old time packers told me it was an equestrian parade that had been going since before my mother was born, and Mother is not young, she was born in 1927 (don't let her know I posted this here).  Since, it included dancing and music, I knew I had to go. We had a great time at our first Fiesta Parade! The horses, costumes, traditions, and the colorful eggs are a lot of fun. Looking forward to next year. Visit this link to view the photos. Enjoyed the sounds of Unfinished-Business and of course, Boyz II Men.

Exhausted from a great day at yesterday's pride in SB, we arrived a bit late but got to Central Coast Pride 2009 in San Luis Obispo in time to see some cool performances. Holatta Shok was so very sexy and I loved the show. Josh Zuckerman's performance was heart, soul, and tons of energy. He is fantastic and I am now a fan of his on Facebook. The afternoon concluded with the familiar and welcome sounds of Tiffany. It is amazing to see a performer relate so well to her fans.

Thank you Gala of the Central Coast, Central Coast pride, and the sponsors. It is appreciated by your community. Peace and love to Flavio and Sterling. We look forward to seeing you again.

Thank you Pacific Pride Foundation for a fantastic festival.

Tiffany, we loved you! Joshua Klipp and his sexy performers were great to photograph.

Can I withhold my soul so that it does not touch yours?
Can I lift my soul over you to other things?
I would eagerly give my soul a secret place to hide - somewhere silent and secret - someplace that does not resonate when your depths vibrate.
Yet, everything that touches us, you and me,
takes us together as a violin bow's stroke does,
that out of two strings draws a single voice.

Upon what instrument are we two spanned?
And what player has us in his hand?
Oh sweet, sweet song.

The brook has gentle melodies,
and far away is dust and city;
the treetops are swaying back and forth
and making me so drowsy.

The woods are wild, the world is wide
my heart is clear and big;
pale Solitude is holding
my head upon her lap.
Rainer Maria Rilke, translated by M.D. Herter Norton
